A graduate of Yale University, Mr. Hwang holds a law degree from Columbia University School of Law and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. He is a licensed attorney and admitted to practice in the state of California. Mr. Hwang is also a US licensed customs broker with a national permit issued by the US Customs & Border Protection. From 2000 to 2007, Mr. Hwang worked for the U.S. Commerce Department’s Silicon Valley Export Assistance Center and in that capacity counseled hundreds of US companies on US export procedures and regulations.
