Update on CES Progress

The following were discussed and recommended best practices.

Use PCC Logistics website. www.pcclogistics.com Within 30 minutes on receipt of a PT, PCC will update website with assigning a consol number so checking website is good place to start.
Trucker assignments: Unless CET exam, PCC Logistics will reach to broker for trucking assignment. Be prepared to request PCC dispatch or give SCAC code with instructing trucker on interchange documentation.
Early filing of entries is optimum. CBP will include entry numbers on PTs to facilitate PCC to contact broker of record.
Broker emails to PCC Logistics should include container number, PT number and Master Bill in subject line.
Truck D.O. Assignment: PCC will necessarily require a delivery order for Trade or CBP Agriculture exams. (CET exams are dispatched by CES) If requesting PCC Logistics to dispatch trucking, please indicate at start.
Reminder that broker assigned truckers should check availability on SCAC switch. No appointments needed on exam containers to out-gate at terminals but SCAC switch is needed if broker assigned truckers are involved. Contact PCC if SCAC switch needs to be refreshed.
Additional reminder for assigned truckers on chassis street turns: use chassis online tools
CET (NII) exams are conducted at port terminals by 3^rd day or broker should check status. CET will designate PT by end of day if NII not conclusive. Dispatch on CET containers are prioritized.
PCC extended operation hours and work with Customs for multiple seal checks daily.
Freight release/payments: PCC takes PayCargo and credit card. PCC is no longer accepting check copy. PCC will soon have additional option for payment link through their website.

Overweights: PCC Logistics is in overweight corridor. Regular in-gates require scale tickets. Any overweights will be reviewed for road-legal on out-gate.
